Previous Previous: QUARTERBACKS, RUNNING BACKS, TIGHT ENDS.

Unlike the running back and tight end room, Mizzou enters 2026 with a plethora of changes within the wide receiver room. This is true for both the projected starting lineup and the depth. While some of these players haven’t played a snap in black and gold, there is plenty of optimism as they will be joining an ascending second-year player with high expectations.

Here’s who makes up Jacob Peeler’s room in 2026:

  • Caleb Goodie Sr., 6-foot-1, 183 lbs, senior, Breaux Bridge, LA.
  • Cayden Lee: 5-foot-11, 180 lbs, senior, Kennesaw, GA.
  • DaMarion Fowlkes: 5-foot-9, 188 lbs, sophomore, Montgomery Village, MD.
  • DJ McBride II: 6-foot-3, 190 lbs, freshman, Lakeland, FL.
  • Devyon Hill-Lomax: 6-foot-3, 193 lbs, freshman, Edwardsville, IL.
  • Donovan Olugbode: 6-foot-2, 210 lbs, sophomore, Chicago, IL.
  • Gavin Wyatt: 5-foot-10, 194 lbs, junior, Warrensburg, Mo.
  • Jabari Brady: 6-foot-1, 212 lbs, freshman, North Lauderdale, FL.
  • Jayden Bolton: 6-foot-2, 190 lbs, fifth-year, Frisco, TX.
  • Karsen Fiene: 6-foot-2, 195 lbs, freshman, Lee’s Summit, MO.
  • Kenric Lanier II: 6-foot-1, 205 lbs, senior, Decatur, GA.
  • Naeshaun Montgomery: 6-foot-1, 190 lbs, sophomore, Central Falls, RI.
  • Noah Flaskamp: 6-foot-1, 200 lbs, senior, Collierville, TN.
  • Shaun Terry II: 5-foot-11, 180 lbs, sophomore, Ironton, OH.

Seven Tigers departed the room a season ago. Kevin Coleman Jr was selected in the 5th round of the 2026 NFL Draft, joining Theo Wease Jr. in Miami. As of this week, Xavier Loyd is still a member of the Kansas City Chiefs ahead of its preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams. Daniel Blood (Washington State), Joshua Manning (Kansas State), and Marquis Johnson (Mississippi State) all transferred out of the program, while Logan Muckey graduated.

Now, let’s learn more about the current members of the room:

Returners

Donovan Olugbode — The first “Wow” moment in Olugbode’s collegiate career in our eyes came on an outstanding 4th-and-10 catch against Kansas, and he continued to build on that as a true freshman. Olugbode finished 2025 as the Tigers second-leading receiver with 401 yards and two scores against Alabama and Mississippi State. He returns as this team’s projected “X” wide receiver at 6’2, 210 pounds with plenty of exciting growth ahead of him.

Shaun Terry II — Terry appeared in 18 snaps between the Central Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mass games. He recorded a single reception for 9 yards.

DeMarion Fowlkes — Recruited as a four-star receiver a season ago from Montgomery Village, MD. He has yet to play a snap as a Tiger.

Noah Flaskamp — Flaskamp has been on the Tigers roster for three seasons.

Newcomers

Caleb Goodie Sr. — Last season at Cincinnati, Goodie tallied 484 yards (Second on the team) on 29 receptions in a loaded wide receiver room. He spent his first two seasons in Fort Collins at Colorado State. Statistically, in 2024, he tallied 436 yards, averaging 20.8 yards per reception. Slotting in at the “Z” spot, what Goodie brings to the Tigers’ offense is his speed. You give him space, and no one will catch him. Earlier this summer, I detailed what he could do for the Tigers’ offense.

Cayden Lee — Coming with Austin Simmons and Chris Graves from Mississippi, Lee was a key part of the Rebels’ run to the College Football Playoffs. In Lane Kiffin’s high-volume offense, he tallied 635 yards on 44 receptions in 2025. In his collegiate career, he has 106 receptions for 1,623 yards and seven scores. He’ll slot into the slot for the Tigers in 2026.

Kenric Lanier II — Coming from the Twin Cities, Lanier spent the past three seasons with P.J Fleck in Minnesota. He adds veteran depth to an already deep room, giving the Tigers options beyond their three main wide receivers for 2026. Lanier’s usage increased throughout his time with the Gophers. After playing just two snaps with the team in 2023, that increased to 67 in 2024. This past season, he tallied a career-best 149 snaps, catching 3 receptions for 79 yards between the Northwestern State and Iowa games. A Georgia native, he is a former four-star recruit.

Naeshaun Montgomery — Like Lanier, Montgomery adds depth from a high level to the Tigers. Montgomery was a four-star recruit out of Miami Central in South Florida. At 6-1, 190 pounds, he played in 38 snaps for Florida in 2025, catching just three receptions for 26 yards. 63% of his snaps came in the slot for the Gators. He still has plenty of eligibility left, making him a long-term option in the room beyond 2026.

Also coming from South Florida, Jabari Brady arrives to the Tigers roster as a 4-star recruit, choosing the Tigers over in-state programs like Florida, and Florida State. At 6-1, 212, he’s not only a bigger body wide receiver, but brings speed with his game as he was an excellent track athlete in the 100, 200, and 400. As a senior at Monarch High School, he tallied 1,118 receiving yards, 633 more than the previous year, for 11 scores.

Karsten Fiene competed with incoming Mizzou running back Preston Hatfield at Lee’s Summit. The two helped Lee’s Summit win the 6A State Title in the highest class in the Show Me State. He comes to Columbia after being a versatile athlete where in 2025 he recorded 1,586 all-purpose yards (1,096 rushing for 17 scores and 435 receiving and four more scores). He originally was committed to Iowa State before flipping to Mizzou. As for Devyon Hill-Lomax, he arrives as a 3-star recruit from Edwardsville High School. Hill-Lomax was a 7A All-State receiver in Illinois. He tallied 672 yards and eight scores as a senior. He brings length to the receiver room at 6-3, 193 pounds.

DJ McBridge II, Jayden Bolton, and Gavin Wyatt round out the receiving depth in this room.

Summing up the room in 2026

The talent in the wide receiver room has been evident over the past few years, and Jacob Peeler has done a fantastic job coaching and recruiting the unit. When the quarterback play has been stable, the receivers have thrived, in the past two NFL Drafts, the Tigers have had three members selected.

This season, the one-through-three starting lineup meshes well together. Olugbode showed flashes as an X, Goodie brings speed at the Z, while Lee will play in the slot. All have shown they can compete at a high level, and if the quarterback and offensive line play is at a certain level, the sky is the limit for the offense.

And behind them is a solid depth that was built through the portal and the recruiting class. Nevertheless, this group has plenty of new faces, but has the talent to succeed in the SEC.

Projected Depth Chart

Starters:

X: Donovan Olugbode.

Z: Caleb Goodie.

Slot: Cayden Lee.

Depth: Kenric Lanier, Naeshaun Montgomery, Shaun Terry II, DeMarion Fowlkes, Jabari Brady, Devyon Hill-Lomax, Karsten Fiene, DJ McBride II, Jayden Bolton, Noah Flaskamp, Gavin Wyatt.
