As the Denver Broncos prepare for their preseason opener against the Atlanta Falcons on Friday, they have a large group of bubble players competing for final spots on the upcoming 53-man roster.
After reaching the AFC Championship game last season, the Broncos brought back most of the roster that went 14-3 in 2025. So there aren't a lot of starting spots — or even roster spots — that appear to be up for grabs. Everyone will get an opportunity to impress this summer, though, and some sleepers could land on the active roster after preseason.
Ahead of the team's first preseason game on Friday night, here's a list of 25 players who appear to be on the bubble.

Denver will play three preseason games this month before finalizing an initial 53-man roster. The players who don't make the active roster will still be candidates for the club's 16- or 17-player practice squad in 2026.
