The Georgia Bulldogs have six players that are currently on the Atlanta Falcons' roster entering Atlanta's preseason debut against the Denver Broncos on Friday, August 14 at 7 p.m. ET. Georgia pass catchers have been a popular target for the Falcons at training camp.
Three of the Falcons' players with the most receptions in training camp are Georgia Bulldogs. According to Daniel Flick, Georgia rookie wide receiver Zachariah Branch has the fourth-most receptions (14) of any player on the Falcons through 11 practices during training camp. Branch is expected to play a significant role in Atlanta's offense this season.
Former Georgia tight end Charlie Woerner, who is more known for his blocking ability, is the Falcons' second-leading receiver at his position with 11 receptions (tied with Austin Hooper). Woerner is a good compliment to Falcons star tight end Kyle Pitts.
Additionally, undrafted rookie running back Cash Jones continues to be a productive receiver at the next level. Jones has nine receptions this training camp, which ties him with star Falcons running back Bijan Robinson for ninth-most on the team,
No NFL team has more Georgia Bulldogs than the Falcons, who have six Georgia players. Atlanta will miss Georgia linebacker Jalon Walker this season. Walker suffered a torn ACL in training camp and will miss the entire 2026 season.
