The Dallas Cowboys overcame an early deficit against the Seattle Seahawks in the preseason opener, showing the fight this team has developed under head coach Brian Schottenheimer extends to the backups. And while the team showed development on both sides of the ball, each unit also had areas of concern that need to be addressed.
Saturday's game might be in the rearview mirror, but these are the things the team should've taken away from the contest.
Interior offensive line depth is a major problem
After the performance from their backup offensive linemen, the Cowboys front office should be ringing alarm bells. After losing quality backups Brock Hoffman (Steelers) and Matt Hennessy (IR), the depth on the interior is lacking. T.J. Bass looked like the only competent backup, which should be concerning for quarterback Dak Prescott and this coaching staff.
The Cowboys will probably be fine with their starting offensive line. Depth is an issue
