TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) -- One of the more surprising aspects of Alabama's 2025 season was the decline in production for Ryan Coleman-Williams.
The former five-star recruit burst onto the scene in 2024 as a true freshman. Coleman-Williams finished that season with 865 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.
Last season, Coleman-Williams finished with 689 receiving yards and four touchdowns. His 13% drop rate was fourth worst in the country.
Ryan Grubb met with reporters Monday after practice and raved about Coleman-Williams' performance in camp. The Crimson Tide offensive coordinator placed him on a shortlist of players that have improved most in camp.
Coleman-Williams was a Preseason All-SEC First Team selection. He leads an almost entirely rebuilt receiver room in 2026.
