The first phase of PSG’s summer saw them sell a number of attacking players. Now we’ve reached the buying phase, and things are moving quickly.
Maghnes Akliouche joined from Monaco, Ferran Torres is on the verge of signing from Barcelona, and there’s more to come. Mika Godts is close to a deal which will bring him from Ajax to the Parc des Princes.
Santi Aouna of FootMercato, who usually gets these things right, says that PSG and Ajax have a verbal agreement in place already, and that the Belgian starlet is heading to Paris to complete his medical and the paperwork necessary to get the deal over the line.

Previous claims have put the transfer fee at €55m, pretty good business for a player who appears to have plenty more levels to go to, and should shine when surrounded with world class teammates.
He will face the same challenges as PSG’s other signings – earning minutes in a team with an exceptionally strong first choice front line. The fact he will sign with most of preseason already completed will be a further handicap to him.
