In the Arizona Cardinals' 27-14 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, 39 players participated in at least one of the 68 offensive snaps.

The first number after each name is the number of snaps, and the second is the percentage. Players in bold were starters.

Quarterbacks

  • Gardner Minshew II (30/43), Kedon Slovis (28/41), Jacoby Brissett (11/16)
  • Did not play: Carson Beck (injured)

All three quarterbacks had passer ratings over 100: Brissett 142.9, Minshew 132.6 and Slovis 101.4. Minshew had two touchdown passes, including one by WR Simi Fehoko, who had his second in two games on a fade in the end zone. Brissett’s connection to WR Marvin Harrison Jr. on a 7-yard score culminated a 10-play opening drive of the game. Head coach Mike LaFleur called it an “incredible” throw and added, “I said, ‘Save those for September, dude.’” Brissett was 5-for-5, Minshew 14-for-16 and Slovis 7-for-9. In two games, the quarterbacks have completed 50 of 59 pass attempts (84.7 percent). Beck did not play because of ribs he injured in the Hall of Fame Game. LaFleur said there’s “no concern” and added Beck started feeling “a little bit worse” a few days later and the team didn’t want to risk playing him.

Running backs

  • Jeremiyah Love (24/35), Corey Kiner (22/32), Zonovan Knight (10/14), Evan Hull (7/10), Tyler Allgeier (6/9)
  • Did not play: Trey Benson (injured), James Conner

Love got a taste of NFL action for the first time and rushed for 58 yards on 11 carries (5.3 average) with a long of 16. He also added 14 yards on three receptions. Kiner runs hard, had a running leap over a defender and ran 10 times for 59 yards with two receptions for 13 yards. Not including three kneeldowns, the running backs totaled 159 yards on 33 attempts (4.8 average).

Wide receivers

  • Reggie Virgil (37/54), Bryson Green (28/41), Jalen Brooks (25/36), Harrison Wallace III (21/30), Simi Fehoko (20/29), Ihmir Smith-Marsette (19/28), Devin Duvernay (18/26), Marvin Harrison Jr. (11/16), Kendrick Bourne (8/12), Michael Wilson (7/10)
  • Did not play: Xavier Weaver

A battle is brewing for a fifth and possibly sixth receiver spot between Brooks, Fehoko and Virgil. Brooks had six catches on six targets for 52 yards and a touchdown. Fehoko, a standout on special teams, scored again, while Virgil had a superb reception and caught two for 43 yards with a long of 24.

Tight ends

  • Rivaldo Fairweather (28/41), Teagan Quitoriano (25/36), Jamison Geers (17/25), Shawn Bowman (11/16), Trey McBride (1/1)
  • Did not play: Elijah Higgins
  • Active/PUP: Tip Reiman
  • Reserve/injured: TE Kenny Yeboah

There were only three targets to tight ends, something that will surely change in the regular season. McBride started and that first snap was his only one in the game, while Higgins did not play. The targets to the tight ends were all caught with Geers’ for six yards and a first down, Quitoriano for four yards and Fairweather for three. Assuming Reiman is ready to begin the season, one of the other tight ends could win a roster spot as a blocker if four are on the 53.

Offensive linemen

  • G/C Hayden Conner (30/43), T Josh Fryar (30/43), C/G Jon Gaines II (30/43), T Jayden Williams (30/43), T Christian Jones (28/41), G Chase Bisontis (28/41), T Demontrey Jacobs (28/41), T Valentin Senn (28/41), C Ka’ena De Cambra (28/41), T/G Matt Pryor (15/22), G/T Oli Udoh (15/22), LT Paris Johnson Jr. (11/16), LG Isaac Seumalo (11/16), RG Isaiah Adams (11/16), C Hjalte Froholdt (11/16), RT Elijah Wilkinson (11/16)

The night became a downer when Bisontis suffered an injury to his left knee. He tore his MCL, which means he will miss much of, if not all, the season.
