Arsenal and Liverpool have failed to reach an agreement over a fee for Vincent Joseph, with a tribunal now set to determine how much the Gunners will pay the Reds for the exciting 16-year-old striker. Arsenal were keen to add him to their youth squad this summer after his impressive performances in his age group.
Joseph has been one of the best players in his age group over the last few months, and he was also keen on making the move after being attracted by Arsenal’s offer. He has now left Liverpool to continue his development in London, despite the Reds’ efforts to convince him to remain at the club.
Liverpool Tried To Keep Joseph
Liverpool made their best efforts to retain Joseph and offered him a scholarship deal that they believed would be best for his development. However, the striker rejected the proposal and instead decided to accept the opportunity to join Arsenal.
The Reds continued to push for an agreement, but Joseph informed them that he was moving to Arsenal. The Gunners then attempted to secure an agreement with Liverpool over his signature, but the two clubs have been unable to settle on a fee.
Tribunal To Determine Transfer Fee
As reported by Mirror Football, a tribunal will now determine the price Arsenal must pay Liverpool for Joseph. The decision will establish the compensation required for one of the top talents in the country, bringing an end to the disagreement between the two clubs.
Joseph will join some of the best young talents in England at Arsenal, and the Gunners will be confident that they have secured a player with huge potential. His decision to leave Liverpool represents an important step in his development, while Arsenal will hope that he can continue his progress after making the move to London.
