Arsenal Could Dominate for Years
The Daily Mail’s Isaan Khan still believes Arsenal could go on to dominate the competition for much of the next few seasons. The Gunners have developed into a strong team, and their rivals could struggle to keep pace.
“This is a different team (current Arsenal), though, one emboldened to seize the moment of being on top, with the chance to be dominant in the months ahead. The rest of the ‘Big Six’ are going through transitions, remember.”
Khan’s assessment highlights the opportunity now available to Arsenal. While the Gunners must still prove themselves over an entire league campaign, their Community Shield victory has strengthened the belief that they could establish themselves as a dominant force in English football.
Arsenal will now turn their attention to the league, knowing that consistency will be essential if they are to build on their impressive start and maintain their position at the top.
