While they looked as if they could come back, the Braves could not overcome a first inning deficit in a 4-2 loss to the Twins on Monday. After the first inning, the Braves pitching staff was able to lock in to give the Braves a chance. But an offense that is now 27th in baseball since August 7th, when it started this current three week stretch playing some of the best teams in baseball and the Mets, could not get the job done. Atlanta must get the offense back going, especially with series against the Dodgers and Brewers on the horizon.
