The Miami Dolphins kick off their 2026 preseason schedule tonight when they visit the Washington Commanders. Under the NFL’s preseason manning rules, teams are allowed to have 90 players on their roster – and in the Dolphins’ case, they are allowed an extra player due to a roster exemption for rookie tight end and NFL International Pathways Player Seydou Traore.

There could be up to 91 different players on the field for the Dolphins tonight, and 91 players for fans to try to track throughout the contest. At some point, you are going to see a play made, and then immediately realize you have no idea who is wearing that particular number. Or maybe there is one specific player you want to watch, but you do not know which jersey he is wearing. Maybe a veteran from last year changed his number this year.

There are a ton of players on the field, and it will be hard to track everyone. We are here to provide some help. We have broken down the Dolphins’ roster heading into Preseason Week 1, organizing it by both jersey number and by last name. Check out all the player on Miami’s roster for tonight (and the players who may be on one of the inactive lists, just in case you are curious).

Miami is actually favored in this game, with the FanDuel oddsmakers listing them at -3.5. Given they also have the Dolphins as the team with the second-longest odds to win the Super Bowl this year (+75000) and with just a 4.5 win total line, this may be one of the few times we see the Dolphins as a favorite in a game this year.
