The Chicago Bears and the Cleveland Browns play football tomorrow! Sure, it’s just preseason (once again, we talkin bout practice), and the Bears are going to sit several starters, but it’s still going to be good seeing the Navy and Orange on my TV.
The Browns are going to play their starters to open the game, and while their number one offense may only get a series or two together, they do intend to play quarterback Deshaun Watson the entire first half. Their plan is for Shedeur Sanders to begin the third quarter at quarterback and play the second half.
Chicago’s QB2, Tyson Bagent, will get the start, and he knows how valuable these reps will be with Caleb Williams entrenched as the QB1.
GAME INFO
The Bears host the Browns from Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois, on Saturday, August 15, with kickoff set for noon (CT). The forecast calls for a high of 79 and partly cloudy skies with a chance of rain. Thunderstorms are expected in the area in the morning.
TELEVISION
The game will be on FOX 32 for the Chicago audience, with that feed being simulcast on the NFL Network. Adam Amin has the play-by-play with Jim Miller and Stacey Dales providing analysis, and Jasmine Baker will be on the sideline. ODDS
The visiting Browns are favored by 3.5 points, with the game total over/under at 40.5.
POSTGAME
