The New York Jets dodged a bullet with running back Breece Hall after it was revealed his non-contact groin injury wasn’t significant. We now have more details on how long Hall will be out after the Jets provided the latest injury update on Tuesday before practice. But the expectation is Hall will be ready to go for the start of the season. “Jets coach Aaron Glenn tells reporters that RB Breece Hall will be out 2-3 weeks, but will be ready for Week 1,” NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported. The Jets will play their first regular season game on Sunday, Sept. 13, against the Tennessee Titans. That gives Hall a little over three weeks to get right and be ready for Week 1. However, we should remain just cautiously optimistic. The reason for that has to do with the tricky nature of groin injuries, which can linger longer than expected. If Hall has even one setback and his timeline gets pushed back, his status for Week 1 will be in danger. — Enjoy free coverage of the top news & trending stories with The Big Lead Newsletter —
