Caitlin Clark has been unstoppable this season to say the least. She is also strengthening her case as the WNBA‘s biggest star to date.
The Indiana Fever guard earned props as Eastern Conference Player of the Week for Week 12 with 25.7 points, 9.7 assists and 3.3 rebounds through three games.

Clark’s numbers show why she remains one of the league’s toughest players to defend. She received some huge praise from former two-time All-Star Chiney Ogwumike.
“We all know she is an amazing shooter and excellent point guard, but what I personally love is how she continues to improve each and every year,” Ogwumike said.
Ogwumike, a former player turned sports analyst, was the No. 1 pick and Rookie of the Year in 2014. She continues to marvel at Clark’s season performance, giving her the flowers she deserves for her averages this season. At only 24, Clark is poised to keep improving her game and her numbers.
Indiana selected Clark No. 1 overall in the 2024 WNBA Draft. She won Rookie of the Year honors and made the All-WNBA first team during her debut campaign. Most important to note is that she’s just getting started.

Clark is having her best season yet. She is shooting at 45.0% from the field, including 35.4% from beyond the arc. The Iowa product has also been almost automatic from the free-throw line at 85.5%.
The Fever superstar reached her first 1,000 points, 250 rebounds and 250 assists in only 54 career games. She topped Diana Taurasi’s previous record of 62 games. Now, the three-time All-Star looks even more dangerous.
Clark has raised her scoring and field-goal efficiency this season while continuing to create for her teammates. She is averaging a career-high 8.3 assists and leads the league in that stat.
Her numbers show a clear trend: that she is an efficient scorer, playmaker and, arguably the WNBA’s finest in recent years.
