INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark hobbled off the floor with an apparent left lower leg injury about 40 seconds before halftime against the Dallas Wings on Friday night.
\nClark stepped on Wings forward Alysha Clark's foot while trailing her on defense. She looked to be in immediate pain, hopping on her right leg as the play continued. She tried to walk it off, but Fever coach Stephanie White subbed her out for backup point guard Tyasha Harris. Clark went straight back to the locker room, limping the entire way back.
\nClark had nine points, four assists, and three rebounds when she left the floor.
\nShe seemed to avoid any kind of serious injury, however, as she came out to warm up ahead of halftime and started the second half as normal.
