Caitlin Clark is no stranger to making history, and she broke three records in the Indiana Fever win against the Dallas Wings.

Caitlin Clark seems to be heating up at exactly the right time for the Indiana Fever. The team has been collecting wins consistently, and they added another big one on Friday.

Powered by Clark’s 29-point, 10-assist performance, the Fever managed a 98-97 win against the Dallas Wings. This was a crucial win for the team in its hunt for better playoff seeding.

While the team success is phenomenal, it was a momentous night for Caitlin, too. The 24-year-old managed to break all kinds of records with her performance.

Caitlin Clark becomes fastest player this century to reach 700 assists, doubles up another WNBA record

When truly generational stars come through in any league, the records start falling at a rapid rate. And it’s safe to say that CC is generational.

The Fever guard racked up 29 points, 10 assists, and shot over 60 percent from the field. She also only had one turnover, a phenomenal offensive display. And she ended up breaking three different records.

This was Clark’s 20th game with 20 or more points and 10 or more assists. No other WNBA player has even 10, extending CC’s lead in this metric. The next one is somehow even more impressive.

This win was Clark’s 83rd game in the WNBA. The Iowa alum has already racked up her 700th career assist. This makes her the fastest player to hit that mark in the W this century. Incredibly, no NBA player can claim to have done so since 2000 either.

It was also her seventh game with more than 25 points this season. That is a mark no other point guard has reached in the league’s history until now.

CC is already a huge fan favourite, and her playing well is excellent for the league. If she carries this form into the postseason, the WNBA playoffs will be must-see TV, to say the least.
