Caitlin Clark recorded her 29th career double-double in the Indiana Fever's 106–92 Tuesday night victory over the New York Liberty. In the process, the Hawkeye great surpassed WNBA legend Sue Bird for third-most career double-doubles by a guard in league history.
Clark accomplished the statistical feat in just her 82nd career game. Bird, a four-time WNBA champion, played in 580 career games and finished her career with 28 double-doubles.
Clark posted her 10th points-assists double-double of the season on Tuesday night, pairing her 22 points with 10 assists to power the Fever to a second straight victory and improving their overall record to 21-12.

Next on the list is Minnesota Lynx guard Courtney Williams, who has recorded 31 double-doubles in 367 career games thus far.
Clark will look to continue her WNBA record-setting season on Friday when the Fever welcome Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings to Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Tipoff between the Fever and Wings is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT on Ion.
