CAMBRIDGE ― A new chapter launches for Cambridge High football as Ramone Conley steps in to reset the program foundation following an 0-10 season a year ago. Entering 2026 with a renewed emphasis on physical toughness and situational execution, the Bobcats are wiping the slate clean and focusing on steady, incremental progress across the Buckeye 8 and non-conference slate. "Our focus isn't on the past ... it's on building a program our players, staff, school and community can be proud of," Conley explained. "We expect to be tougher, more disciplined, and more competitive football team each week. Success for us will be measured by the growth of our players, and competing for four quarters every Friday night." "The biggest change for our program isn’t just the players … it’s the growth of our coaching staff," Conley added. "Our assistant coaches have done a tremendous job developing every athlete in the program, and we’re hopeful everyone returns with a renewed sense of purpose, confidence, and commitment."
