Did the Guardians just win a game by more than 2 runs? That was fun. It felt nice not having anxiety that the bullpen was going to give up the lead every inning. The highlight of today’s game was Joey Cantillo pitching against his former team. He was great tonight in a 6-1 victory. The starting pitching has to be great if this team wants to make the playoffs. We also saw multi hit performances from Steven Kwan, Chase DeLauter, and Jo Adell.
This was a big win for the Guardians, every win moving forward is a huge win. They have to start winning these series. Tomorrow they have a great opportunity to do just that at 1:40 pm ET. It will be Tanner Bibee vs Casey Mize.
