Chrissy Metz is firing back at the haters commenting on her weight loss.

During a recent appearance on "The Tamsen Show" podcast, the 45-year-old actress spoke about why she chose to start taking a GLP-1 medication and slammed haters who comment on her body.

"It's not that I don't have people and naysayers and people who comment all kinds of stuff still to this day," she said. "Like I don't know when people will stop doing that. I don't think it ever will happen."

She then recalled a recent incident in which a distant relative congratulated her for "taking control of your weight," as "weight has always been an issue in our family."

JACK OSBOURNE FIRES BACK AT BODY SHAMERS CALLING HIM 'GROSSLY UNDERWEIGHT'

Metz explained that the relative is "an overweight woman" herself, so she understands the struggles of living in the world as an overweight person. She said comments about her weight from the relative don't sting as much, but added, "The other comments are a little…it's wild to me."

"It's interesting what people say cause would they ever say it to you on the streets? Never. Never," she explained. "They're like, 'Oh, Chrissy, you're pretty, but them eyebrows.' I'm like, 'Oh my god, it doesn't matter what I do. It doesn't matter.'"

She then shared some of the types of comments she received, including "Why'd you wear that? Why did you do this? Like why aren't you losing weight? Oh, you're losing weight?"

"It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter what you do," Metz said. "And I know it's not personal, but it can be taxing, but you sometimes just got to just shut it off cuz no matter what you do, somebody's going to have something to say."

Metz, who is currently starring in the Broadway musical "& Juliet," called receiving all the criticism and "still doing what you want to do...an act of rebellion."

The "This Is Us" actress also discussed her use of a GLP-1 medication this week during an appearance on "Today."

She told the podcast host that she was always "skeptical" of GLP-1s and that it was something she "was so afraid of even sort of partaking in," but her mentality changed when her father "unfortunately passed away from obesity complications."

One of the ways in which the medication helped her was by quieting the food noise in her mind, which she described as being "loud."

"I know it sounds so silly now, but I'm like, 'Oh, not everybody hears that all the time? Oh, okay. Oh, there's like something chemically off and metabolically off and hereditary, you know, issues,'" she said. "And so really when that happened with my family and my father, I was like, I have to do something about it. And so, yeah...I feel better on the medication."

The actress is now partnering with Ro, a telehealth company that provides medications for a number of issues, including weight loss.
