CARY, N.C. - Reserve Clarissa Larisey scored twice late in the second half to lift the Houston Dash to a 3-2 comeback win over the North Carolina Courage on Sunday night at WakeMed Soccer Park.

With the teams tied in second-half stoppage time, Larisey's header off a long ball from Lisa Boattin made its way inside the left post in the 93rd minute.

That held up as the winner, ending a two-game winless stretch for the Dash (6-5-8, 23 points). Larisey, who hadn't scored since last season, became the first Dash substitute to score multiple goals since 2014.

Houston had trailed 2-1 entering the 80th minute before Larisey, who substituted in during the 63rd minute, redirected an Avery Patterson cross past goalie Kailen Sheridan.

Ally Schlegel opened the scoring for North Carolina (9-3-7, 30) in the 37th minute, but the Dash responded five minutes later when Kate Faasse scored after a turnover following a Houston corner kick.

Evelyn Ijeh then put North Carolina back in front in the 51st minute, beating Dash goalie Jane Campbell from close range.

The Dash next play at 7 p.m. Wednesday at home against Chicago.
