Simpson, 29, will perform the Australian national anthem, while Infinity Song will deliver a rendition of the U.S. national anthem. The first-ever NFL Melbourne Game will take place Sept. 11 at Melbourne Cricket Ground and feature a matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams. The game will stream Sept. 11 at 10:35 a.m. local time and Sept. 10 at 8:35 p.m. ET on Netflix. "As both a proud Aussie and proud Californian, I'm excited to be singing the Australian National Anthem at the upcoming first-ever regular season NFL game played on Australian soil," Simpson said in a press release. "Growing up between Australia and the United States, I've followed the NFL for years and have also been to many sporting events at the iconic MCG, so I'm excited to witness and be a part of this unique spectacle. And to watch two epic California teams battle it out, including my local Los Angeles Rams! See you there."

Infinity Song said it is "an incredible honor to perform the U.S. National Anthem as the 49ers and Rams take the field in Melbourne." "The anthem is such an important part of the tradition and anticipation leading into a game, and there's something really powerful about that moment before kickoff when an entire stadium comes together in song and celebration. We're thrilled to be part of such a special day for the NFL and its fans in Australia," the group added. In addition, the cast of the musical A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical will perform Diamond's hit "Sweet Caroline" during one of the game breaks. The musical originally debuted on Broadway in 2022 and is playing in Melbourne through Nov. 7. The Jonas Brothers were previously announced to headline the halftime show. The American pop-rock band will also perform on a new North American tour that kicks off Thursday in New York City.
