The Indianapolis Colts worked out a handful of veteran players on Saturday: quarterback Mark Gronowski, cornerback Jaylon Guilbeau, wide receiver Josh Reynolds, wide receiver Tre’Quan Smith, and wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown.

The 6’2”, 226 pound Gronowski was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent by the Miami Dolphins earlier this offseason, but was waived in early August. He was a 2x FCS National Champion, 2x FCS Championship Game MVP, FCS First-Team All-American, and 2x MVFC Offensive Player of the Year previously with South Dakota St.

He started last season for the Iowa Hawkeyes, completing 166 of 262 pass attempts (63.4%) for 1,741 passing yards, 10 passing touchdowns, and 7 interceptions during 13 starts. He was the 2026 Offensive MVP of this year’s earlier East-West Shrine game.

Meanwhile, Jaylon Guilbeau is a 5,11”, 190 pound cornerback who was signed by the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted rookie free agent following the 2026 NFL Draft. He had been placed on the reserve/non-football injury list, but was subsequently waived. He had 40 tackles (22 solo), a sack, an interception and 3 passes defensed during 12 starts as a senior cornerback for the Texas Longhorns defense this past season.

Then there’s Josh Reynolds, as the former 2017 4th round pick of the Los Angeles Rams, who’s also played for the Tennessee Titans, Detroit Lions, Denver Broncos, Jacksonville Jaguars, and New York Jets. The 6,3”, 192 pound wideout has 244 receptions for 3,228 total receiving yards (13.2 ypr. avg.) and 20 touchdown receptions during 121 career games (58 starts).

Next here, is Tre’Quan Smith, who’s a former 2018 3rd round pick of the New Orleans Saints that’s also played for the Denver Broncos and Detroit Lions organization. The 6,2”, 210 pound wideout 131 receptions for 1,764 total receiving yards (13.5 ypr. avg.) and 18 touchdown receptions during 67 career games (35 starts).

Lastly, Equanimeous St. Brown is a 2018 6th round pick of the Green Bay Packers, who’s also played for the Chicago Bears, New Orleans Saints, and San Francisco 49ers. The 6,5”, 214 pound wideout has 63 receptions for 928 total receiving yards (14.7 ypr. avg.) and 2 touchdown receptions during 62 career games (28 starts).
