It's time to punch another ticket to the Little League World Series.
\nDarien, Connecticut takes on Bayonne Central from New Jersey on Friday, Aug. 14 for the Metro region championship and a spot in Williamsport.
\nThis is a rematch of their first game against each other to begin regional tournament; New Jersey won that contest 8-2 on Aug. 8.

\nNew Jersey, on the other hand, has been dominant. After their win over Connecticut, they beat New York 12-2. New Jersey last made the Little League World Series in 2021 when Toms River was representing the Garden State.
