IRVINE, Calif. — Cumberland native Daniel Diehl won a B Final at the Pan Pacific Swimming Championships over the weekend.
Diehl won the B Final in the 100m backstroke, timing 53:67.
The B Final is the consolation final between swimmers who placed 9th through 16th in preliminaries, while the A Final is the top 8 swimmers.
Diehl also placed top 10 in the 50m backstroke and 200m backstroke.
He finished seventh in the 50m, setting a season-best at 24:97.
Diehl was sixth in the 200m, timing 1:58:21.
