The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are adding a new accessory to their iconic uniforms this season. DCC squad director Kelli Finglass announced that the uniform addition will come in the form of jewelry, according to a press release per USA Today. “Uniforms tell a story before we ever dance. In the world of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, every line, every color and every stitch has purpose,” Finglasssaid. "When you include a piece of jewelry, it isn’t about decoration, it’s about intention.” For the upcoming NFL season, DCC members will be adding Kendra Scott earrings to their uniforms. The jewelry designer has a collection inspired by DCC which features earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and more. “The best accessories don’t distract from the uniform, they refine it,” Finglass added. “The Kendra Scott Bella stud is like a final touch that makes the whole picture feel complete.” DCC is known for their navy blue crop tops, shawl, matching shorts, and their blue and white pom poms. According to their website, they have other aspects of their look that are taken into consideration like makeup shades that “complement [their] natural beauty" and wearing their hair in a “current hairstyle that complements [their] features.” “Choose mostly mattes for eye shadows. A little shimmer is OK but avoid a very glittery look,” the website reads. “Also avoid false eyelashes that are very solid or very long, as they can make eyes appear heavy and too dark. Cheek and lip colors should be vibrant neutral tones, avoid shades that are loud/bright. Also avoid too much contrast with contouring and highlighting.” As for the hairstyles, DCC members are told to choose looks that “Make sure your hair does not hide your face.” There have been three seasons of Netflix’s "America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders" that take a deep dive into the lives of DCC stars. During the third season of the show, Faith Ward spoke about wearing a high ponytail as part of her look. “Kelli looked at me and said, ‘Oh, I think I prefer your hair up,’” Ward recalled to Us Magazine back in August 2025. “I got so excited. I was like, ‘Yes, this is like a moment for difference, a moment for me to express myself.’ … We’ve finally nailed it with a million and one hair ties, bobby pins, hair spray [and] hair gel. I’m not gonna lie, at the end of a game day, you have a bit of a headache.” Season 3 premiered on Netflix on June 16 with seven episodes on the iconic cheerleading squad. More lifestyle news:
