The 2026 NFL preseason is here, and while I know they mean absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of the season, it's still nice to see the Dallas Cowboys win.
There are three total NFL preseason games for each team this season. The Cowboys will still face the Arizona Cardinals and the New Orleans Saints before the season actually kicks off. Tickets are still available for those games, with the Cardinals game taking place on the road, but hosting the Saints at Jerry's World.
The real season gets underway when the Cowboys host the rival Washington Commanders for the team's home opener on Sunday, Sept. 20.

When is the Dallas Cowboys home opener?
The Dallas Cowboys will open the season on the road, so the first game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas will take place in Week 2. The Cowboys will host the Washington Commanders on Sunday, Sept. 20. Tickets are starting at $52 for standing room to get into the stadium, but if you're interested in getting closer to Dak Prescott and the rest of the Dallas Cowboys, lower-level seating starts at $441.
