The search for 2027 recruits continues for the Dayton Flyers coaching staff.
Here’s a quick update on the most recent offers made this summer:
Terence Jones: A 6-foot guard from Baltimore, Md., and St. Frances Academy, Jones announced a UD offer on July 30. Princeton, Mississippi State and Georgetown are among the other schools that have offered him scholarships.
Jones ranks 84th in the class of 2027, according to ESPN, and 93rd, according to On3.

Quincy Douby Jr.: A 6-3 guard from Miami, Fla., and Riviera Preparatory School, Douby announced a UD offer on July 22. He ranks 87th in the 2027 class, according to 247Sports.com. Kansas, Saint Louis and Seton Hall are among the other schools that offered him scholarships this summer.
Douby’s dad scored 1,690 points in three seasons at Rutgers from 2003-06, averaging 25.4 points per game in his final season.
Jomar Bernard: A 6-7 forward from The Villages, Fla., and The Villages Charter School, Bernard announced a UD offer on July 20. Purdue Fort Wayne, Florida Atlantic and Wake Forest are among the other schools that have offered him scholarships this summer. He ranks 86th in the 2027 class, according to On3.
Dayton has made 16 scholarship offers to 2027 recruits. It has not yet received a commitment.
In past years, most commitments from high school seniors have come in late summer or early fall. That was the case last year. The two freshmen on Dayton's 2025-26 roster, Damon Friery and Jaron McKie, committed in September.
