After a long offseason, the NFL season has arrived as the Detroit Lions kick off their preseason slate today against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Last year was a season to forget for Lions fans as the team finished 9-8, missing the playoffs.
However, there's plenty of optimism in Detroit as the team was able to retool and get healthy again with head coach Dan Campbell leading the charge.
