The Miami Dolphins have been churning the bottom of their roster over the last few weeks, and they did that again on Tuesday, as they've waived rookie defensive end Mason Reiger with an injury settlement.
Reiger, 23, played at Louisville from 2020-24 and at Wisconsin in 2025. While injuries limited him at times, he appeared in 44 games between the two schools and recorded 82 tackles, 13 sacks, four forced fumbles, four passes defensed and one fumble recovery.
Miami signed Reiger as a priority undrafted free agents, giving him $150,000 guaranteed, which was the second most of any undrafted rookie that they brought in this year. If he goes unclaimed on waivers, he will revert back to injured reserve and miss the year.
To fill the roster spot, the Dolphinssigned defensive end/linebacker Seth Coleman, who spent time with the team earlier this offseason.
