DWCS Season 10, Week 2 results: Kaik Brito starches Namo Fazil with brutal knockout punch

The second week of 2026’s edition of Contender Series delivered a ton of action, capped off by a savage knockout of a fan favorite.

On Tuesday night, Week 2 of Season 10 of Contender Series took place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, featuring three knockouts — including one of the most brutal knockouts in Contender Series history — one submission, the best fight of the season so far, and six UFC contracts handed out.

Kaik Brito def. Namo Fazil

In the main event, Namo Fazil took on Kaik Brito in a high-profile welterweight contest. Fazil is an extremely popular fighter who most recently competed on the undercard of the MVP MMA: Rousey vs. Carano fight card, but he didn’t get an easy out in Brito, who put on a show right from the start.

Brito was the much more dynamic and dangerous fighter early in the bout, but Fazil’s pressure and durability proved problematic for Brito as the fight wore on. Heading into the final round, it looked like Fazil was on the verge of breaking Brito, but just a few seconds into the round, Brito launched a combination out of nowhere, with the final punch landing clean and sending Fazil crashing to the canvas brutally.

Though Brito lost in his first Contender Series outing, dropping a decision to Oban Elliott in 2023, this time not only did he win, but he also earned a UFC contract.

Trent Miller def. Douglas Rodrigues

In the co-main event of the evening, Trent Miller overcame a tough start to submit Douglas Rodrigues, winning as the biggest underdog on the event and redeeming himself from his loss last season.

Right out of the gate, Miller appeared to be in trouble as Rodrigues looked significantly more athletic, hurting Miller early. However, a low blow from Rodrigues allowed Miller to recover, and once he did, he quickly scored a takedown, nullifying Rodrigues for the rest of the round. Once the second round started, Miller quickly went for a takedown, and Rodrigues jumped on a guillotine, but that ended up costing him as Miller put him to sleep with a Von Flue choke.

Christian Perez def. Logan Paxton

In the swing bout of the event, Christian Perez got a bit of redemption, finishing Logan Paxton to earn a UFC contract in his second attempt.

Last year, Perez looked well on his way to a UFC contract. dominating Manoel Sousa for 10 minutes before collapsing in the final round against Manoel Sousa. This time around, Perez started much slower, giving ground to Paxton early, but dropped his opponent with a short hook, and then poured on punches to earn a stoppage victory and a UFC contract.

Alik Lorenz def. Mahamed Aly

In the second bout of the evening, Alik Lorenz also got redemption, punching his way to a UFC contract.

Lorenz took on Aly in a battle of men who lost on Contender Series in 2025, with both promising to give a better showing this time around, but it was Lorenz who lived up to his words, battering Aly with punches right from the jump, scoring a TKO finish in the first round.

Roman Pugadef.Taner Trembley

In the opening bout of the evening, Taner Trembley and Roman Puga both laid it all on the line, going to war for 15 minutes, trying to earn that UFC contract.

Puga was in control early with his high-pressure boxing game, but Trembley was simply too tough to get put away and battled back, hurting Puga in the third round. Trembley was unable to score a finish and ultimately lost a unanimous decision to Puga, but Dana White was so impressed he awarded both men contracts, though both men went to the hospital immediately after the fight, so they were not present to celebrate their contracts.
