Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed taunted President Donald Trump on Saturday, predicting Trump's attacks on El-Sayed and his wife would elevate him nationally as he battles.

Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed taunted President Donald Trump on Saturday, predicting Trump's attacks on El-Sayed and his wife would elevate him nationally as he battles Republican Mike Rogers for a critical open Senate seat.

"Come at us, bro. My wife has more strength than he has ever had. So, come at us. See what happens," El-Sayed said during "On Sunday with Jack Cocchiarella."

"I mean, at the end of the day, like, he’s going to turn me into the main character of the midterms, which I’m totally cool with, because my whole argument about Mike Rogers is he’s always been an NPC," he said.

"Donald Trump can’t help himself," El-Sayed said. "So, part of me is like, 'Come for me, bro. See what happens.'"

An NPC is shorthand for a non-player character in video games.

BIDEN-WORLD VETERAN ISSUES STARK WARNING ABOUT ABDUL EL-SAYED AS HE CROSSES PARTY LINES

RNC National Press Secretary Natalie Baldassarre told Fox News Digital Sunday that El-Sayed's record would put Democrats across the country on the defensive during the midterms.

"El-Sayed is a jihadi jester, and his record of supporting far-left policies, bootlicking terrorists, killing puppies, and cozying up to radicals who think America deserved 9/11 will be on full display. Democrats across the country will be forced to answer for his extreme ideology," Baldassarre said.

FOX NEWS POLL: A SENATE BATTLE LOOMS IN MICHIGAN

A Fox News Poll released Thursday, the first survey taken after the primary, found Rogers leading El-Sayed 51% to 47%.

The contest is among one of Democrats’ most important races as the party seeks to overturn Republicans’ 53-47 Senate majority. The winner will succeed retiring Sen. Gary Peters, D-Mich.

Rogers, who has the president's endorsement, lost Michigan's 2024 Senate race to Democratic Sen. Elisa Slotkin by roughly 19,000 votes.

El-Sayed would become the first Muslim U.S. senator if elected.

HASAN PIKER TORCHED OVER PLAYBOOK TO DODGE HIS PAST CONTROVERSIES: 'BATS--- CRAZY'

Trump escalated his attacks last weekend by publishing a Truth Social post juxtaposing a photograph of himself and first lady Melania Trump with one of El-Sayed and his wife, Dr. Sarah Jukaku.

"Two VERY DIFFERENT America’s," Trump said.

Baldassarre's reference concerned El-Sayed's campaign appearances with far-left streamer Hasan Piker, who previously said America deserved the Sept. 11 attacks. El-Sayed distanced himself from those remarks during an April appearance on "Fox & Friends."

"Of course, I oppose rape. Of course, I don’t think 9/11 was justified," El-Sayed said. "Just because you appear with somebody, doesn’t mean you agree with them on everything."

El-Sayed has campaigned on abolishing ICE, passing Medicare for All and providing tuition-free higher education. He has described himself as a progressive rather than a socialist.

Fox News Digital reached out to El-Sayed for comment, but did not immediately receive a response.
