Embarrassed by your Gmail ID? You can finally change it — here’s how

Google is now allowing users to change their Gmail addresses and Google Account usernames. This feature, which began rolling out last year, enables users to select a new username that is not currently in use. All data associated with the Google Account will be preserved, and both the old and new email addresses will receive incoming mail.
