The preseason accolades continue to pile up for Alabama Crimson Tide safety Bray Hubbard.
Previously named to watch list for the Thorpe Award and Wuerffel Trophy, among others, the senior safety has been selected to ESPN's 2026 preseason All-America team. ESPN's Eli Lederman and Max Olson had Hubbard a second team selection at the safety position behind LSU's Ty Benefield.
Hubbard was the lone Alabama player selected to either the first-or-second teams.
The senior is entering his third season as a starter at safety for the Crimson Tide coming off a 2025 campaign where he racked up 79 total tackles, 4.5 TFL, two sacks, three forced fumbles, and a SEC leading four interceptions. Over his three seasons in Tuscaloosa, Hubbard has posted 137 tackles, 5.5 TFL, two sacks, and seven interceptions.
Hubbard and the Crimson Tide are set to begin the 2026 season at home Saturday, Sept. 5, against East Carolina.
