Fabrizio Romano confirms Liverpool's plans for 'exceptional' attacker Liverpool's attack is one of their main problem areas at the moment. Mohamed Salah is gone and, since Hugo Ekitike doesn't have a return date set in stone yet, their depth is a bit weak. This has made Liverpool's attack, which was one of their strongest assets under Jurgen Klopp, feel like it's nowhere near that of their rivals. Of course, this wasn't helped by the lack of form that Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak were in last season so, if they could turn things up a gear or two, that would obviously go a long way. But, from what they showed last term, that doesn't feel all that likely to happen. So, with this in mind, that's why the future of one Liverpool attacker being confirmed is big news.

Rio Ngumoha is 'untouchable' for Liverpool this summer By the end of the 2025-26 season, Arne Slot finally realised that Rio Ngumoha could actually be of use to him. However, throughout most of the campaign, he chose to stick with Cody Gakpo as his main left-winger despite his rather poor performances. This led to fans questioning his choices and wondering why Ngumoha wasn't being given a shot. However, with Andoni Iraola now at the helm, that is all about to change. Trey Nyoni has already been linked with playing a major role for the Spaniard this term and now, thanks to an update from Fabrizio Romano via his YouTube Channel, it's clear that Ngumoha is also going to have a big part to play.

"Something regarding Liverpool about Rio Ngumoha,” he said. "Should anything happen, Barcola or no Barcola, as I told you, the intention for Liverpool is to add two wingers to the squad, especially if Gakpo goes to Tottenham. In any case, Rio Ngumoha is untouchable. "Ngumoha was never close to joining Bayern this summer. Rio for Liverpool is an absolutely crucial part of the present and future project, so forget about Ngumoha." GambleAware.org £30 FREECLAIM NOW Rio Ngumoha is the future of Liverpool Despite only being 17 years old, Ngumoha has already been called an "exceptional" player. The way that he carries himself on the pitch makes it feel like he's been in and around Liverpool's first-team squad for years. He's not scared of taking anyone on and, although he hasn't scored many goals yet, the fact that he's already got his first one in the Premier League proves how solid of a player he actually is. Gakpo has been linked with a Liverpool exit for as long as anyone can remember and, even though Bradley Barcola is the Reds' main target this summer, there are still going to be plenty of opportunities for him to play.
