Falcons release new depth chart ahead of preseason game vs. Colts

The Atlanta Falcons have released a new depth chart for this Saturday's preseason matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. Last week, the Falcons struggled mightily in their exhibition opener against the Broncos, and that was in Atlanta's home stadium with their starters playing multiple series.

The team has made several roster changes since that 27-7 loss, signing wide receiver Beaux Collins and edge rusher Za'Darius Smith in just the last 24 hours. Collins will provide depth at the wide receiver position, while Smith has a chance to start for Atlanta this season.

Smith was not listed as a starter on the depth chart, though. The veteran edge rusher was listed as Atlanta's fifth-string defensive end behind Cameron Thomas, Azeez Ojulari, Keshawn Banks and soon-to-suspended James Pearce.

The Falcons are not expected to play any starters this weekend, so Saturday's game is a great opportunity for those on the roster bubble. Check out Atlanta's updated depth chart below (Note: injured players are marked with an asterisk*).
