Game day has officially arrived in Atlanta, as the Falcons prepare to face the Denver Broncos in their preseason opener at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Falcons fans are anxious to get their first look at the team under head coach Kevin Stefanski.
Unlike former head coach Raheem Morris, Stefanski plans to play starters in the first and third preseason games. That means we'll get to see the first-team offense and defense on Friday night. Veteran Tua Tagovailoa will start for Atlanta at quarterback and is expected to play about 10 snaps.
Cooper Rush will then take over as the No. 2 quarterback, followed by undrafted free agent Jack Strand, who will close the game out. Check out the Falcons' starting lineups for Friday's game against the Broncos, according to the team's depth chart.
