Former Los Angeles Chargers WR Keenan Allen will play for the Indianapolis Colts in the 2026 NFL season after signing a $8.32 million deal with the franchise.
Allen is a six-time Pro Bowler who had 81 receptions and 122 targets for 777 receiving yards and four touchdowns last season in 17 games (three starts).
Allen leaves for Indiana as the Chargers’ all-time leader in receptions by a receiver, but the 34-year-old clearly wants a Super Bowl ring on his finger, and will hope he can help the Colts get there.

“No idea why Keenan Allen to the Colts took so long, but this was months in the making. Shane Steichen and Allen have had constant dialogue since the summer. If he’s in shape, he’ll be fine. He knows Shane, he knows the offense and he knows how to do just what they need,” said ESPN’s Stephen Holder.
“Fantasy owners don’t panic, Allen is slowing down and yes, he will impede the WRs in Indy, but not as much as you would think,” said one fan with fantasy football in mind.

How will Keenan Allen impact the Colts in the 2026 NFL season?
Allen adds depth and reliability at WR for the Colts, who lost xxx Pittman from their rotation after an offseason trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Colts star receiver Alec Pierce has injury questions over his head, while Josh Downs will also be a returning piece looking to prove he’s still an elite option.
With Jonathan Taylor as their running back and a reliable QB like Daniel Jones, adding Allen into the receivers’ room as a veteran voice who can still deliver results when called upon, might be a huge boon for the Colts next season.
