Florida football's star running back Jadan Baugh earned First-Team All-America honors from ESPN.
The 1,000-yard rusher from a season ago joins Ole Miss rusher Kewan Lacy at the running back position. He was the only Gators player selected to the outlet's first or second team.
Baugh finished third in the SEC with 1,170 yards on the ground last fall, averaging 5.3 yards per carry and scoring 10 total touchdowns as a sophomore. The 2025 Second-Team All-SEC selection produced eight TDs on the ground while notching two through the air.
ESPN Research credited Baugh with a striking 81 forced missed tackles last season and also accumulated 782 yards after contact. His versatility as a receiver is what sets him apart, with the 6-foot-1-inch, 227-pound back hauling in an SEC-leading 33 receptions as a running back for 210 yards.
The recognition adds fuel to an offseason in which Baugh ranked No. 2 by ESPN among college football running backs entering 2026. He was also acknowledged as a Paul Hornung Award watch list honoree. Add Baugh's Doak Walker Award prediction as proof that the Decatur, Georgia, native isn't just Florida's best player, he is one of the premier offensive weapons in the country.
