Florida football is bringing variety to its uniform lineup in 2026 during new head coach Jon Sumrall's first season. Florida will wear eight different uniform combinations throughout the upcoming season, the program revealed on Monday. The schedule features two combinations that will make their debut in Florida football history, along with another that the Gators haven’t worn in six decades. Florida will debut an all-blue uniform combination against Oklahoma, while the blue “Gators” helmet, orange jersey, and white pants combination will make its first appearance against Campbell. To honor Steve Spurrier and his Heisman Trophy-winning 1966 campaign, Florida will wear its "retro" throwback uniforms against South Carolina. UF wore a similar version of the uniforms back in 2020 against Missouri, sporting the same helmet style, but instead of white tops and bottoms, it wore blue shirts against white pants. "I’ve seen them and I’m excited about them," said head coach Jon Sumrall. "I look forward to them. Long way off from us actually wearing them, but I do think they're a cool tribute and such a cool look." The Gators will also bring back the blue “Gators” helmet, white jersey and white pants combination against Florida State, a look that hasn’t been worn since the 1960s.
