The NFL preseason kicked off last week, and multiple Tigers are playing in the preseason. While some players have established themselves in the league, most players are looking for playing time or a roster spot in these preseason games.
Travis Burke was the only Tiger drafted in last year’s draft, and he was selected with the No. 117 pick in the fourth round. Several other player are signed as undrafted free agents, including Cortez Braham.
Here’s a look at four former Tigers who are on preseason NFL rosters.
WR Cortez Braham (Baltimore Ravens)
Cortez Braham signed with the Ravens after finishing his collegiate career at Memphis. With the Tigers, he recorded 889 yards and eight touchdowns on 63 receptions.
Braham didn’t appear in Baltimore’s first preseason game.
Tony Pollard (Tennessee Titans)
Tony Pollard is entering his eighth year in the NFL, and he returns for his third season with the Titans. The running back has rushed for more than 1,000 yards in four straight seasons, and he has 5,782 career regular-season rushing yards.
He ran for 22 yards and a touchdown in Tennessee’s first preseason game against the 49ers.
Patrick Taylor Jr. (San Francisco 49ers)
Patrick Taylor Jr. returns to San Francisco for his third season with the 49ers, but he didn’t appear in any games last year after suffering an injury before the start of the season. In 2024, he ran for 183 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries.
Taylor re-signed to a one-year deal with San Francisco in the offseason. He ran for -5 yards and a touchdown on five carries in the first preseason game against the Titans.
K Jake Elliott (Philadelphia Eagles)
Jake Elliott enters his 10th season in the NFL, and he’s spent every year with he Philadelphia Eagles. Elliott has won two Super Bowls, made the Pro Bowl in 2021 and was named a Second-Team All-Pro in 2023.
The kicker has converted on less than 78 percent of field goals over the last two seasons, and he only made 74.1 percent of field goals (20-27) in 2025.
OL Dylan Parham (New York Jets)
Dylan Parham signed with the New York Jets in the offseason after spending the last four seasons in Las Vegas. He has recorded 3,803 snaps over four season, and he logged 1,042 snaps in 2023, which is a career-high.
Last year, he played 843 snaps, and he allowed six sacks, five hits and 17 quarterback hurries at left guard. He earned a 63.1 rush-block and 62.3 pass-block grade from Pro Football Focus.
He played 11 snaps in the preseason game against Tampa Bay, and he recorded an 81.6 pass-block grade.
