Former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris is visiting the New York Giants, per Adam Schefter.
Harris signed a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Chargers in 2025, but suffered a torn Achilles less than a month into the season after having never missed a game in his career.
Harris was drafted in the first round by the Steelers in 2021, where he would go on to rush for 1,000 yards in each of his four seasons with the team. Many were surprised when Pittsburgh declined his fifth-year option ahead of the 2024 season because of that production and aforementioned durability, but Pittsburgh opted to go forward with Jaylen Warren, as well as a one-year partnership with 2025 team MVP Kenneth Gainwell.
Heading into 2026, the Steelers’ new duo features Warren and Rico Dowdle, giving them the only running back duo in the NFL in which both players topped 1,000 scrimmage yards a season ago.
