Four players leaving FC Bayern Women In the final Bundesliga match of the 2022/23 season at home to 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam (Sunday 28 May, 14:00 CEST), FC Bayern Women can secure the championship with a win. Before kick-off, four players who are leaving the club at the end of the season will say their goodbyes: Laura Benkarth, Ivana Rudelić, Saki Kumagai and Emelyne Laurent. FC Bayern says thanks and Servus! Thanks and take care, Laura! 72 appearances, 55 wins and 43 clean sheets! Laura Benkarth kept the ball out of the FC Bayern net for a long time. As the number one during the 2020/21 season, the Freiburg native played a key role in the title win, conceding just one goal - a penalty - in the entire first half of the season. After five years in the FCB shirt, the cheerful 30-year-old is leaving the club at the end of this season. On the pitch, Laura had command of her defence and passed on her many years of experience to the young goalkeepers at Bayern in training and on matchdays. Many thanks for your service and your infection happiness over the last five years, Laura! We wish you only the best for the future! All the best, Ivana! After returning to the Bavarian capital at the start of 2021, Ivana Rudelić is now leaving Bayern. The striker first plied her trade for the Reds from 2008 to 2014, before rejoining seven years later. During her first stint with the club, the Croatian international lifted the DFB Cup in 2012, when she scored the goal to make it 2-0 in the final. She also celebrated the championship with the team in 2021. Dear Ivana, many thanks for your commitment in the Bayern shirt. FCB wishes you all the very best! Servus and danke, Saki! Sunday will also be Saki Kumagai's final game for Bayern. The Japanese made a total of 64 competitive appearances for the Reds, winning 51 of those games. Having joined from Olympique Lyonnais in 2021, the 2011 World Cup winner was always fully commited in the Bayern Women defence, and also made an impact at the other end: the popular defender scored 11 goals in all. Dear Saki, many thanks and all the best for the future! Merci, Emelyne! French winger Emelyne Laurent is also departing Munich after one year in red and white. The speedy youngster joined Bayern last summer from Lyon and made 24 appearances. "Em" also impressed off the pitch with her wide range of interests, her aptitude in learning German and her inquisitiveness.  Thanks for your service to Bayern, Emelyne, and good luck for the rest of your career! It's the end of an era - Karin Danner is leaving FCB: Karin Danner - Pioneer, Strategist, Visionary
