Germany's Darja Varfolomeev delivered her second golden show at her home World Championships in rhythmic gymnastics, winning the ball title on Sunday after her all-around triumph two days before.
The 19-year-old claimed her 13th world title in total and also took bronze with the hoop.
In front of 4,250 spectators at Frankfurt's sold-out Festhalle, Varfolomeev received 30.350 points for her difficult ball routine and a roaring round of applause. She left Russians Sofia Ilteriakova (29.800) and Maria Borisova (29.150), who competed under a neutral flag, in the other medal places.
Varfolomeev, who still has the ribbon final later, missed out on the clubs final.
