New England Patriots left tackle Will Campbell did not enjoy a strong end to his rookie season.
The former LSU offensive tackle was dealing with an issue late in the season, which saw the Seattle Seahawks run riot in the Super Bowl back in February.
Campbell allowed one sack and 14 total pressures on Drake Maye in that Super Bowl defeat to the Seahawks.
Both Campbell and the Patriots will be out for revenge when they open their season against Seattle in the Pacific Northwest next month.
However, there are already some concerns surrounding the left tackle after footage has emerged from the Patriots’ joint practice with the Indianapolis Colts.

Fans share Will Campbell concerns after New England Patriots’ joint practice with the Colts
During his rookie 2025 season for the Patriots, Campbell allowed five sacks and gave away seven penalties during the regular season.
It was the postseason where his performances really fell away as he gave up a further four sacks on Maye.
Going up against one of the Colts’ defensive ends, Campbell was dominated in one rep shared on social media, which sparked concern among fans
‘Never seen a human go backwards this quickly,’ replied one fan on X.
It was clear that fans were shocked by just how much Campbell was dominated in the rep: ‘Bro flew off the screen so fast the camera barely caught it’.
Campbell suffered an MCL tear during the 2025 season, but he was not required to undergo surgery to clean up his injury.
One concerned Patriots fan even said: ‘It’s gonna be a long season’.
‘Will Campbell starting where he left off in the Super Bowl,’ added another.
There were some Patriots fans suggesting the play would have been deemed a penalty in an actual game for hands to the face.
However, this did not ease everyone’s worries: ‘Will Campbell is a liability’.
‘I don’t care if it’s practice, get this guy off the team,’ one seriously concerned fan even said.
Given the way he ended his rookie season, it is very clear that Campbell is heading into the 2026 term with a lot of doubters to silence.
