The Denver Broncos' incredible new $175 million facility has been the talk of training camp, from both players and coaches, and even from owner and CEO Greg Penner. Now with the high price tag, one may ask: is there such a thing as too comfortable? “Well, I think you’ve met our head coach," Penner quipped when asked if players will get too comfortable. The Broncos' ownership group has given the players everything they need to be successful, and it's now up to the players to perform on the field. "Everything we can do to support the players in this building, out on the field they’re going to work their tails off," Penner said. "I’m not worried about (players) not working hard enough. I don’t think that will be an issue. Any time we’re going to — whether it’s this facility, a new stadium — we’re trying to raise the expectations, and our expectation is [that] we want to win championships, and we’re going to do everything it takes and provide the resources that are necessary to do it.”
Greg Penner was asked if he thought about the players being too comfortable in the new facility. Penner joked: Have you met our head coach? pic.twitter.com/yTgqZ52J5D — Zac Stevens (@ZacStevens) August 11, 2026 The players have had a great response to the new facility, and are excited to use all the resources ownership has provided. "Everything they’ve said to us has been incredibly positive," Penner said. "Obviously, the highlights would be the locker room is in a great layout, a lot more space for them. Everything is connected, so it’s easy for them to go from one place to another." Remember, though, as coach Sean Payton said: "Who’s in the facility is the most important thing."
