Rescheduled for 2 September | Tickets remain valid
Our home match against SK Rapid, scheduled for 23 August on Matchday 4 of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga, is to be postponed. Rapid, having advanced to the UEFA Conference League play-offs, are exercising their right to postpone the match.
The new date for the Austrian Klassiker against Rapid is Wednesday 2 September at 20:30. All purchased tickets (including summer hat-trick bundles) remain valid for the match.
Agreed approach for Austrian Bundesliga clubs
Since the 2021/22 season, the Austrian Football Bundesliga (ÖFBL) has had a rule, unanimously agreed upon by the clubs, allowing for a postponement of a league match that takes place between two European Cup play-off matches. SK Rapid has now taken advantage of this option.
If the Viennese team makes it into the UEFA Conference League's league phase, 1.5 percent of their participation fee will go into a solidarity fund, from which all clubs in the league benefit that do not play in any group stage of an European competition.
