ANDERSON, S.C. (WSPA) – It’s the most wonderful time of the year in the Carolinas: high school football season! With the 2026 season inching closer, the T. L. Hanna Yellow Jackets are previewed ahead of kickoff on Friday August 21 at Belton Honea Path.
HANNA YELLOW JACKETS:

2025 Record: 10-2, 7-0 (Region Champs)
- Lost opener at Byrnes and lost first road playoffs to Indian Land, 43-41

Preview:
The Yellow Jackets will look to crank out another 10 win season with either Will Mayfield or Myles Norris running their offense which is all about a stable of backs piling up the yards and last years to rusher Brock Cole, who leads the group. You can’t help but notice they don’t return an offense long starter.
Four starters are back on defense including linebackers Carson Cole and Connor Ash, and DBs Emez Nance and Caden Morrell.
