Week 1 of high school football has arrived, and the threat of potential storms have already begun to affect Friday nights.
As we approach opening kickoff, several high schools have shifted their game times ahead of Week 1 action for Aug. 21.
Here are the games that have been moved due to incoming storms.
Games moved to Thursday at 7 p.m.
- Douglas Byrd at Cape Fear
- Jack Britt at South View
- Terry Sanford at Seventy-First
Games still scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m.
- Gray's Creek at Pine Forest
- Hillside at E.E. Smith
- Westover at Union Pines (7:30 p.m.)
