IPL 2026 Memes: Hilarious Reactions from KKR vs SRH, Match 6 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) registered a commanding 65-run victory over Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Match No.6 of the Indian Premier League 2026 at Eden Gardens on Thursday, April 2.

After being put in to bat, SRH posted a formidable total of 226/8 in 20 overs, thanks to a blistering start from Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma. The duo added 82 runs in just 34 balls for the opening wicket, putting KKR on the back foot early. Head smashed 46 off 21 balls, while Abhishek matched the tempo with 48 off 21 deliveries.

Skipper Ishan Kishan and Aniket Verma could not capitalize, falling for 14 and one run respectively. However, Heinrich Klaasen and Nitish Kumar Reddy steadied the innings with an 82-run stand for the fifth wicket. Klaasen scored a composed 52 off 35 balls, including four boundaries and a six, while Reddy contributed 39 valuable runs.

For KKR, Blessing Muzarabani was the standout performer with figures of 4/41, while Vaibhav Arora picked up two wickets.

In response, KKR had a flying start with Finn Allen smashing 28 off just seven balls. However, wickets kept falling at regular intervals. Angkrish Raghuvanshi showed resistance with a well-made 52 off 29 balls, while Rinku Singh added 35 runs.

Despite their efforts, the rest of the batting lineup failed to contribute, and KKR were bowled out for 161. For SRH, Jaydev Unadkat starred with 3/21, while Eshan Malinga and Reddy picked up two wickets each.

With this win, SRH moved to sixth place with one win in two matches, while KKR slipped to ninth after losing both their games so far.
